Frost Candles
THE PERFECT SAVIOR ON COLD NIGHTS
Time and again we experience late frosts with negative temperatures. It gets particularly cold between 4 o'clock in the morning and shortly after sunrise. Plants may already be at an advanced stage of growth and the first flowers may be forming. On such nights, the flowers in vineyards and orchards freeze, which can lead to high crop losses. This is where the Balthasar "anti-frost" frost candle can help.
The Balthasar "anti-frost" frost candle is highly effective and can raise temperatures above the freezing point when used correctly. The burning time is about 10 hours per candle.
The Balthasar "anti-frost" frost candle is made in central Switzerland from recycled paraffin from the candle industry.
